Available Positions

Customer Service Representative

You'll be the voice of TrakMaps and the first point of contact for most customers, tackling e-mails, live chats, remote support sessions and phone calls. You'll participate in the content of our blog and our new Learning Center, and will create webinars and participate in forums. Working closely with our support, cartography, marketing and sales departments, your mission will be to provide an awesome experience to our customers.

You have:

  • Exceptional communication skills: You can make complicated concepts sound easy. You take the time to understand and listen and you are fully bilingual (English & French, written and spoken).
  • An understanding of computers: You may not be a coder, but you are familiar with Windows & Mac environments and gadgets like GPS units and smartphones. You can learn complex procedures and simplify them for the user.
  • Willingness to help: The goal is to understand the problems our customers face and help fix them. If this does not make sense, this is not the job for you. You will have to step outside your role from time to time, learning more about the other departments.
  • Prior customer facing experience: Whether you've been a cashier or worked in a call center, you must have experience working with customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: You can collaborate with people with a variety of skill sets. You can make good choices that serve both the customer and company and are passionate about helping and retaining customers.
  • Occasional Overtime Availabilities: You can be present at our booth at the handful of trade shows we go to between September and February.
  • Sense of Humour: This is a serious job with important responsibilities. But you want to have fun while you're at it.
  • You own a computer, have Internet access, and can work occasionally from home without any distractions.
